In 1993 VERRES S.p.A. adopted, as a natural evolution of its pre-existing quality management, a Quality System in conformity with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9002:1987, and in 1994 it obtained the Bureau Veritas certification, renewed in 1998 in connection to the 1994 edition of the same standard. During the planning stage of renewing the Quality System certification and its adaptation to the 2000 edition of this standard, VERRES S.p.A. was committed to developing an Integrated System from which it could obtain and maintain the certification for Quality (second UNI EN ISO 9001:2000), Safety (second OHSAS 18001:1999) and the Environment (second UNI EN ISO 14001:1996). The reorganisation of VERRES S.p.A. management for Quality, Safety and the Environment underwent the phases explained concisely as follows:

The three subsystems were recertified in August 2005. To achieve this goal, the organisation confirmed and still confirms the following lines of the "Integrated QSE Policy".
