Semi-processed products mean metal coin blanks,
either filled-in or perforated, on top of which the words and effigies
of
the various states are printed by means of minting, thus giving the
semi-processed products the attributed face value, before being transformed
into coins.
The coins are mainly round these days: therefore we
speak about blanks and rings (or outers ) for the outer section of the
bimetallic coins, and inners (or pastilles or centers) for the inner section
of the coins.
The semi-processed products can be supplied according to various degrees
of finishing in compliance with the customer’s requests. |
